We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee our organization’s IT infrastructure, including Active Directory administration, server management, and network operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems while supporting business growth and innovation.
YOUR MISSION:
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, user accounts, and access permissions. Handle user onboarding/offboarding and access lifecycle management.
- Deploy and manage on-premises virtual machines through vCenter Server , including provisioning resources, maintaining and supporting internal business applications running on VMs.
- Oversee server infrastructure (Windows/Linux), including installation, configuration, monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and configure Windows and macOS computers, including AD user setup, security hardening, and system configuration.
- Administer and support network systems (LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPN, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi).
- Ensure system security and compliance, including backup, disaster recovery, access controls and business continuity planning.
- Monitor performance of IT infrastructure and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Manage IT support operations, providing guidance and escalation support for helpdesk staff. Collaborate with other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Manage domain registrations, DNS configurations, SSL certificates, and CDN services (e.g., Cloudflare) to ensure secure and reliable access to company resources.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement, licensing, and contracts.
- Administer and manage SaaS applications and tools (e.g., project management, communication, CRM, analytics) to support the needs of different teams across the organization.
- Develop and implement IT policies, SOPs, and documentation for systems and processes.
- Lead IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Lead a team of 4-5 IT specialists
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE COMPANY:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in IT systems administration, network management, or IT management.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux Server environments.
- Experience managing DNS records on Cloudflare or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) is a plus.
- Understanding of databases (MariaDB, Redis) and telephony systems is considered a plus
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience managing Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Remote Desktop connections, and remote access tools (e.g., RealVNC).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership ability with experience managing or mentoring IT staff.
NICE TO HAVE/ADVANTAGE:
- Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+ or equivalent.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and project management.
