We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Software Engineer to join our dedicated Anti-Malware engine team. This crucial team is at the forefront of developing and implementing advanced cybersecurity technologies across all our supported platforms, which include Mac, Linux, and Windows.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core business logic and enhancements for the various engines within our sophisticated anti-malware system. This involves a deep understanding of malware analysis, threat detection techniques, and robust software engineering principles to ensure the highest level of protection for our users. You will work on cutting-edge technologies, contributing to the continuous evolution of our defensive capabilities against an ever-changing threat landscape.
YOUR MISSION:
- Write high-performance and critical-path code for sensitive situations in production under Linux, Mac and Windows
- Write high-quality code considering as many edge cases as possible
- Investigate complex multiple author code in production & research to understand the full extent and impact of issues found
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders across the organization (R&D, Support, Operations, product, etc.)
- Participate in customer and support calls as the technical authority.
- Get familiar with real customer challenges and gain a deep understanding of the balance between UX and security value
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE COMPANY:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related degree;
- A minimum of 4+ years of working on at least one of Mac/Linux/Windows
- At least 4 years of experience C++.
- Passion for problem-solving and debugging complex issues
- Ability to understand other people’s code quickly and effectively
- Experience in Software Design and Object Oriented programming
- Experience with complex SW multi-threaded environments.
- High attention to details
- Work under pressure and be productive
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
